A garden gives you plenty of time to think. You plant something, tend it, and wait. Sometimes it grows beautifully. Sometimes you learn that it needs a different spot.
I like that image for moon wishing.
The new moon is when I write “I intend…” and give myself room to think about what I want. You can begin with something small or let yourself dream big enough to be surprised by what comes up.
What would you like to grow?
More time for creativity? A home that feels peaceful? The confidence to try something you’ve been putting off?
Write a wish in words you would actually use.
“I intend to make room in my week for something I love.”
You can write in a notebook, type on your phone, or spend a quiet moment thinking it through. Use what works for you.
Give your wish something to grow in
If you enjoy gardening, you might plant a seed or tend a plant while you consider your intention. Let it be a reminder to return to your wish and care for it.
A flower on the table or a favorite photograph can serve that purpose, too. Choose something meaningful to you.
Then ask yourself: What would help this wish grow?
Perhaps you need to set aside time, learn something, ask for support, or take a first step you’ve been avoiding.
Allow room for change
A garden changes as you work with it. Your wishes can change, too.
When you return to what you wrote, notice what still matters. Have you discovered something new? Does your wish need more attention, a different approach, or permission to become something else?
You don’t have to force an answer immediately.
For now, write your wish. Choose one thing you can do to support it. Give yourself a chance to see what grows.
